Y-Hack is a national hackathon hosted by and at Yale University. The goal of the event is to bring together student hackers and entrepreneurs with experienced industrial innovators.
Plan to arrive some time before 5:30 PM. Hacking officially kicks off at 6 PM, but we'll have tons of festivities going on earlier in the day.
On Saturday, everything will be finished by around 9 PM.
Each one comes with a $200 sponsored prize from the company! Mentors of each API will be present at Y-Hack to help out and teach.
First: $10,000 cash, $3,000 Amazon Web Services credit, all-expense paid trip to Microsoft to demo the winning hack with their engineers and direct-entry into the Greylock Hackathon.
Second: $5,000 cash, $2,000 Amazon Web Services credit, all-expense paid trip to Google to demo the winning hack with their engineers.
